A small number of trading cards carry illustrations that sexualise their characters. TCGIndex does not display them. That is an editorial choice, made by the person who runs this site, and it applies to every game we cover.

What happens to those cards

Nothing else changes. The card keeps its page, its price, its full price history, its place in the screener, the tables and the search results. It is still tracked, still analysed, still part of every index it belongs to. Only the picture is replaced, by a short notice.

This is a market data product. Hiding an illustration does not mean hiding a card from the market.

Where the line sits

An artwork is not shown when it presents a character's body for sexual appeal: nudity or near-nudity, underwear or swimwear, clothing built to reveal, posing or framing that makes the body the subject rather than the character or the scene. Violence, horror, armour, athletic builds and ordinary character art are not affected.

Every card in the catalogue is reviewed against that written rule, and a person reviews the results and corrects them. It currently affects 732 cards, a fraction of a percent of what the site covers.

If you think a card is wrongly hidden

The review is not perfect and a mistake is worth fixing. Write to [email protected] with the card and the set, and it will be looked at by hand.

There is no setting to turn this off. Asking for one is fair, and the answer is still no.
